It absolutely astounds me how many people wait for popular consensus to be declared before they will accept and comply with that consensus. They wait for the majority to come out and say … “Yes … it is so … “ and then they will accept it to be so for themselves.
I occasionally wake up during the night and turn on Coast-to-CoastAM … a late-night talk radio show. Just a few days ago … someone called in and was ranting about … “When are they going to tell us the truth about UFO’s … etc.”
Good gosh … decide for yourself. More than enough evidence is all around you to come to your own conclusion.
Our world is being … and has been … swamped with mis-truths … or at best … half-truths. The reality of UFO’s and aliens is just one minor long-term example. They have been in our skies for decades … centuries even … yet many want the executive authorities to come out and clearly state it is so before they will allow themselves to believe it … when the evidence is right before your eyes … for those that wish to uncover the evidence on their own.
*If* you wish to be any kind of true spiritual student … you *cannot* succumb to this. It does not take a highly developed intellect to know what is going on around us. Any time the authorities declare issues such that … it makes no difference if you were born a male or female … you can claim the opposite and have it lived as a reality in our society … if the authorities can convince people of that … the masses are *well* on their way to being strongly controlled.
You can imagine just how easy this was when “word-of-mouth” was the only avenue of communication.
Within the masses … and even within the crowds that “know” … there are many who are very outspoken … and wish to demand that everyone else know where they stand and just how correct they are. Eventually you realize that you do *not* have to make everyone else agree with your decision to live your own truths. Design some generic dance-steps … from “I’d rather not talk about it” to “I believe in freedom of thought” … just make your declarations and then go about your life … quietly. If confronted … hold your ground in silence with a smile … or … turn and leave.
Do your own study, people … as objectively you can. Try to keep your emotions out of it … give most any direction as much validity as another until one side begins to slide puzzle pieces into place for you … regardless if you had previously held that position or not.
As long as it is not hurting anyone else … you can hold to any belief you wish … if you believe it benefits your understanding of Life around you.
