Let’s cut right to the core here …
In the short-run … and by that I mean in the current lifetime … you will not get anywhere … be anything … do anything … beyond your current state of consciousness … unless and until you go in and design your way “into” it and BE it first … via a very generic term I have been using … and that is … inner work.
All the preliminaries are going to be learned during all of this. This … is your lifestyle. This … is a major reason why a serious, sincere spiritual student devotes daily time to directed inner work.
Those individuals who are in the preliminary stages of learning LIFE … those “younglings” as I have called them … we all have been there … most of us are there now … going through the “elementary” or basic of fundamental learning scenarios to develop our basic understanding, dealings with, and cooperation with … LIFE IT-self … more technically … life here in the Lower Psychic / Metaphysical Worlds first … it will be a while before they are developed enough to begin such practices as inner work. Again … there is no judgment here … first graders are not going to deal much with high school physics. ( Plug in any number or grade that you wish … the concept remains the same. )
You start getting on towards and into high school … you begin to pay attention to this … and it takes a bit of time ( lifetimes ) to believe inits worth and to get it all working … just as with any “art” or development of a decided tool.
Please remember this …
So try not to blame it on mind … recognize that each inexperienced little Soul is learning how to drive the “car” of LIFE … you will have all your accidents and pleasure-trips and errands and tickets to teach you anything and everything you need to know to be a good “driver” … and towards the end … you will intentionally head towards the race track or the obstacle courses to practice your expertise … and to get better at what you already know.
Thus … inner work … and revision.
