Consider the times in history when the eager student made long, long trips to find someone who had the “answers” they were looking for. Many times there were only rumors that there actually was such an individual. Sometimes you had to find your way to the hidden monasteries that housed the more knowledgable.
The availability of the internet … is a paradox. It is beneficial to find data … but it is a detriment to discerning what is valuable or not. We tend to collect. The mind will wallow in the pleasure of infinite data collection … juggling options … gathering and resonating and delighting in familiar data and extending the gathering of additional data within the current stance … and one will tend to do that forever.
Consider that … what just sounds good verses what promotes actual growth.
It takes discipline, awareness, foresight, effort … to discern … what will move you forward and beyond … and not just develop more of where you already are.
To develop your willingness … and build on it … to stay in the Lower Psychic / Metaphysical Worlds … or get out of them … and do what is necessary to take those steps. Very few sets of teachings will teach you how to do that. They are NOT promoted.
If you advance into such a set of teachings … you tend to have to face those issues within yourself that you are protected for a long, long time. You have buried most of them so they become more acceptable to you … and this makes them tougher to face.
As you master yourself via discipline and focus … you begin to find those elusive “beams” that hold real truth … greater truth … and you begin to live from that stand.
One key to this … to ask the specifics … ask the details. Find those people who have done this … and ask.
You have to cut down on the stagnating passivity … and take up a lifestyle of active effort … mostly inwardly … mainly because you are interacting with Spirit … and that will lead you to an authentic Master … one that can be validated and verified as being so … and you can then follow Him into the Pure God Worlds … doing what He says … NOT because He is trying to control you … but He is trying to set you free from what you do not wish to release.
